At the Lazaunh\u00fctte, a break becomes real quality time, because here you can stop off in the midst of nature and enjoy more than just the mountain air. The Schnalstal Valley offers numerous possibilities in summer and winter and whether you are hiking or walking, tobogganing or skiing – we await you with a place in the sun, as well as various events and a playground for our younger guests. We at Adlernest are constantly trying to reinvent ourselves and are always striving for a breath of fresh air and challenges. That’s why we took over the Lazaunh\u00fctte in fall 2021 and would like to add a new place to the long tradition and thus the family soul of our house to give guests from near and far a smile. After you’ve been well and truly fed at our hut, you dream about how cool it would be to descend the mountain in style and speed as you gaze into the distance. You don’t have to dream about it, grab one of the mountain carts and off you go on a wild ride down into the valley. Enjoy the wind in your face on the mountain Ferraris and compete with your friends to see who can cover the four kilometers of forest trail first. Already over? Then come and visit us again soon!<\/p>

Mountaincarts can be rented at Sportservice Erwin Stricker<\/span> at the mountain station from June 27 to October 4<\/span>.<\/strong>
From <\/span>September 14, rentals are available <\/span>Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only.
<\/span>The return point is the valley station in Kurzras<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>

From Kurzras along trail no. 1 via “Untere Berg Waal” and then turn off onto trail no. 11A to the plateau and Lazaun hut. The way back is via the outward route or trail no. 11 as a circular hike. If you want a bit more action, you can rent a mountain cart (note the rental times) or take a more leisurely ride on the cable car.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The “Schnols Summer Festival Hike” will take place again on July 09, 2026. Look forward to a leisurely tour through the Schnals mountain landscape, accompanied by music and the likeable frontman of the Kastelruther Spatzen Norbert Rier<\/strong>. Participation in the hike is free of charge. However, all those who make a donation to the South Tyrolean children’s cancer charity “Peter Pan” will receive a hiking certificate signed by Norbert Rier.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
